Professional reverse osmosis for salinity up to 6,000 ppm
The Kinetico Purecleer COMPACT L series is designed for professional and industrial projects requiring direct-flow reverse osmosis. With maximum feedwater salinity of 6,000 ppm, it offers a higher salinity limit than the COMPACT HL series for technical assessment. Three variants, L 380, L 760 and L 1150, use two, four and six 4040 membranes respectively. Salt rejection is 99%, with recovery adjustable up to 75%. Electronic pump control and a common frame size complete the series. AquaPurify offers these systems on quotation, with selection based on the required production, feedwater characteristics and the constraints of the installation.

Choosing a model
Choose from COMPACT L 380, COMPACT L 760 and COMPACT L 1150, with hourly outputs of 380, 760 and 1,150 L/h respectively. L 380 and L 760 use 1/2 inch BSP permeate and reject connections; L 1150 uses 1 inch BSP. Compare site demand, salinity and the manufacturer’s daily production figures.

Preparing your installation
Selection begins with feedwater analysis, salinity and the required production volumes. The 6,000 ppm limit must be considered alongside other parameters, including chlorine, pH and temperature. Provide a minimum dynamic inlet pressure of 2 kg/cm² and capacity for the 2.2 kW installed load. The inlet connection is 1 inch BSP female; permeate and reject connections vary by model. Drainage, maintenance access and any necessary pretreatment or associated equipment must be specified before ordering.
Maintenance and monitoring
Monitoring should reflect water composition, usage and the manufacturer’s instructions for the delivered model. It should cover pressures and flows, produced water quality, recovery settings, pump operation and membrane condition. Connections and associated equipment also require inspection. Service work and replacements are determined by actual operating conditions.
Optional accessory
The Purecleer blending kit is an accessory to assess as part of the project. It is not included in the base supply described on this page. Its suitability, compatibility and any addition to the order must be confirmed in the quotation.

How does COMPACT L differ from COMPACT HL?
COMPACT L has a maximum feedwater salinity of 6,000 ppm, compared with 3,500 ppm for COMPACT HL. It comprises three models with outputs of 380, 760 and 1,150 L/h. Selection depends on water analysis and required production, rather than flow alone.
Which models are included in the COMPACT L series?
