How to identify a replacement part
- Note the brand and model on the system label, for example the VIQUA model or the Kinetico series.
- Read the reference printed on the part to be replaced: lamp, sleeve, cartridge or membrane.
- Search the catalogue for that reference, or browse the category matching the part.
- If in doubt, send us a photograph of the label and of the part before ordering.
Indicative replacement intervals
| Component | Usual interval | What affects it |
|---|---|---|
| UV lamp | Every 12 months of continuous operation | Rated lamp life; the lamp keeps lighting after its UV output has dropped |
| Quartz sleeve | Inspected at each lamp change, replaced when damaged or fouled | Hardness, iron and manganese in the water |
| Sediment cartridge | When the pressure drop increases, and at least as often as the manufacturer recommends | Particle load and volume treated |
| Carbon cartridge | At the rated capacity in litres or the manufacturer’s interval, whichever comes first | Chlorine level and volume treated |
| Reverse osmosis membrane | When permeate quality or flow declines despite correct pretreatment | Feed-water quality, pretreatment and operating hours |
These intervals are indicative. The manual of your equipment and your water analysis take precedence.
Frequently asked questions about consumables
Why use original manufacturer parts?
Lamps, sleeves and seals are designed for the dimensions and electrical characteristics of each system. Original parts help preserve the rated performance, the monitoring functions and the manufacturer’s warranty conditions.
Do I need a professional account to order?
Ordering is reserved for professional customers. Submit an account request with your company details; each request is reviewed before access is activated.
Should the lamp and sleeve be replaced together?
Not necessarily. The lamp is replaced at its rated interval, the sleeve when it is damaged or can no longer be cleaned. Lamp-and-sleeve kits are practical when both are due.
