Five models for planning your reverse osmosis capacity
Kinetico Purecleer COMPACT HL is a direct-flow reverse osmosis series for professional and industrial water treatment installations. Five variants, from COMPACT HL 400 to COMPACT HL 1200, use between two and six 4040 membranes within a common frame measuring 1,682 × 640 × 634 mm. The series provides 99% salt rejection, adjustable recovery up to 75% and a maximum feedwater salinity of 3,500 ppm. Electronic pump control is provided across the series. Available from AquaPurify on quotation, these systems allow production capacity to be considered alongside actual site demand, water quality and the available electrical and hydraulic connections.

Choosing a model
The series comprises COMPACT HL 400 / 239508, HL 600 / 239509, HL 800 / 239510, HL 1000 / 239511 and HL 1200 / 239512, with respective flow rates of 400, 600, 800, 1,000 and 1,200 L/h. Compare the 24-hour volume, membrane count and connections in the table. The HL 1200 has 1-inch BSP product and reject connections; the other models have 1/2-inch BSP connections.

Preparing your installation
Sizing should start with water analysis and the consumption profile, including peak demand and the required water quality. Check the 3,500 ppm maximum feedwater salinity, chlorine, pH and temperature limits, and the minimum dynamic inlet pressure of 2 kg/cm². Provide a three-phase 380 V, 50 Hz supply for the 2.2 kW installed power, a 1 inch BSP female feed connection and drainage suited to the reject flow. Permeate and reject connection sizes depend on the model. Maintenance access, any necessary pretreatment and associated equipment must be defined during the technical assessment.
Maintenance and monitoring
The maintenance plan depends on feedwater quality, operating settings and usage conditions. Follow the instructions applicable to the supplied equipment and monitor pressure, flow, produced water quality, membrane condition and connections. Recovery settings and pump operation should also be reviewed as part of routine technical monitoring. Cleaning and consumable replacement requirements must be determined for the installation.

The Purecleer blending kit, reference 239504, may be assessed as an optional accessory for the project. It is not included in the base description; suitability, compatibility and any addition to the supply must be confirmed in the quotation.
